Mexico was absolutely amazing!
I went to the beach and snorkeled around the reefs most days whilst my dad being a tart spent most of it sunbathing in some sort of vegetative state. Done some jungle maya excursion and zip wired through the jungle, went diving in the caves and cenotes, and then hopped into some jeep which was like a death trap. I found the whole truck journey hilarious whilst the ‘driver’ (who probably didn’t have a license and most likely blagged being able to drive!) was throwing us around in the back. We then went with some lovely mexican guy and snorkled in another bay. We saw everything! the little squids were so adorable and we were practically face to face with giant turtles. We saw a lionfish which was awesome and then stumbled across a HUGE baracuda.. (me and baracudas go way back - i am not a fan), saw a few stingrays and fisheeeeees
the hotel was lovely, lovely staff, lovely food; so much that you couldn’t go hungry if you tried! I stayed at the Grand Sirenis in Akumal and i highly recommend it, but probably for 2 weeks because the resort is so huge!
p.s; i have the most ridiculous tan lines on my chest.. o’lord.
p.p.s; the salt from the sea has tightened up my dreads so much and i no have all sorts of craziness going on. expect a photo bombardment.
